Mock Houndstooth Sweater

Just finished a sweater that I had been working on for a couple of months. The pattern is a mosaic one in which slipped stitches are used to create an effect. Only one colour is used in each row. I used Jamieson and Smith jumper weight Shetland wool and 3.25 needles. I used an applied I-cord for the neck opening.

Very nice, Ron. The mosaic knitting certainly makes a great houndstooth pattern and no need to carry yarns. I should consider giving mosaic knitting a try, again, as I've never actually done a project in it, just a few practice pieces.

Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Very impressive. It looks much more complicated than just one colour on each row.
