Simple 2x2 Scarf

I was giving this yarn by a dear friend of mine on this site, Lou Chicquette. It is a beautiful, supple blend of 42% wool, 35% acrylic, and 23% Viscose. The yarn is by Berroco and is buttery soft that makes it a very pleasant yarn to knit. I simply began each row with a slip stitch to make for a nice salvage edge, then continued with k2, p2 on RS, with knitting the knits and purling the purls on the WS. Easy! I didn't want a complicated design to interfere with the yarn colors. It has so many different colors with lots of metallic influences that react very nicely to light.

Lou...thank you so much for the gift of fiber.

Great colours!
I'm very fond of a 2x2 rib for scarves.

Thank you all for the kind words!

Even more fun that seeing the scarf is just a bit of the Scrabble knitting box to hold your yarn. What a hoot! Great work, Mark. Absolutely beautiful.
