Change Circle Shawl done by one of my test knitters. I've added the pattern as a file attachment.
*cough* it's a single colour.
The multi colours are because it was blocked the crayon coloured interlocking squares.
Yes, I know it's a single colour and the blocks are coloured. I was referring to your fear of working with two or more colours in a piece of work. *Big grin*. Reminder: must learn to write American.
Why write american? I don't.
What does designing this have to do with my fear of colourwork, though? There's no relation. Not being snippy - just curious.
No, there is no relation between designing this wonderful shawl and fear of colour work. But isn't it a little bit illogical? I always enjoyed colour work but shied away from anything a bit lacy, and whilst I am getting my head round working with YOs to make things lacy, I would need smelling salts if asked to design something like your fabulous work. It seems illogical to me that you are afraid to try colour work when you have such fantastic skills. In my case I think I am afraid that my skill in one area of knitting may not translate well to another area. I shall find out when I finally finish and block the lacy piece I am slowly working on.
Wow - how beautiful is this. How can someone who can design this, let alone knit it, say they are scared of colour work?
