shawl - just finished!!!

jerzy pl.'s picture

After 1,5 - 2 years of knitting (with many and long-time breaks) I finished - this morning - shawl (18 colors) for my friend from museum (by Kaffe Fasset`s design). Details: (5 x 25) stitches X (18 x 30) rows = 125 stitches x 540 rows, 75 cm x 225 cm and ... 1,7 kg. I`m verry happy!!! Tomorrow the gift will be offered!

From the back, it appears you have woven the carried first color yarn as you knit in the second color...my favorite way to do stranded knitting. What a splendid peice of work, Jerzy!
