After having done 4 socks (2 pair) cuff down, and messing up the seam at the end, I have decided to work on a pair now toe up. So far so good. Awesome cast on and toe increases and onto the foot.
But my question is for the heel. When working cuff down, I did a very simple short row.
Knit a row, purl a row and at each row simply turn one stitch earlier. When there were a certain number of remaining stitches, I then began adding them back in. This was done by doing k2tog on the last working stitch with the next skipped stitch (closing the gap), and then adding a new stitch by picking up a stitch. Eventually all the stitches were back in play and then I just continued working in the round.
Can I do my heel now the same way coming from the toe instead of the cuff?
