Yes, great pattern, more interesting than plain knitting, but I imagine it can get sort of boring after the first 8 repeats!
I'm interested in your opinion of the Denise needles. There was a discussion on another list about them, compared to the Addis.. some didn't like the joins. Did you have any trouble with them at all? What about the bamboo? I would imagine they are not the same as the Denise needles.. any comparisons you would want to make?
And yes, we do want to see it all finished!

Beautiful. I love the stitch pattern.
It's a darn great looking work.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Please post more pics. Would also love to see pics of the "Wild One" in person (sheep) how cool. Did you dye the wool yourself?
Terrific looking. Even better if the two of you are the same size and you get to borrow it. Let us see the complete project at finish.
Well, whaddya know!
There I was trying to send a pic to another menwhoknits member, couldn't figure out how to make the picture upload, step away from the computer to keep from throwing it out the window, come back, and low and behold, there it is, the picture of this sweater, on the home page! Hmmmm. I must have done something right, but...not quite!
Anyway, this is a sweater I'm knitting for my partner, out of wool from my friend Wendy who has a sheep farm in West Virginia. This particular wool comes from a favorite sheep we called The Wild One. I'm using my new Denise Interchangable Knitting Needle Kit to knit it up, and just got new bamboo dpn's to finish up the sleeves, so I'll start on that tonight.
Thanks evenyone for the kind comments! I'll take a picture when it's done.
Jonathan . .a great looking sweater. I especially like the textured pattern, as well as the color. Be sure to post a pic when it is finished.
I dig it, Jonathan. Very textured. Are you knitting this up for you or for someone else?
