I have no words...I can't think of any.
You just gotta watch it.
as I was watching her knit, I was thinking that's so cool, I wanna try with maybe 20 strands, just to see, then I glanced over at the knotted mess that is the pair of socks I'm knitting, 2 at once and realized there's no way when I can't keep 2 strands from tangling I could do it with 20.

that would make either a fantastic piece of wall art (when appropriately bolted through a stud or joist(sp?)); but i know i'd REALLY love that as a cushion & back for a chase lounge, or even one of those fancy, boho-modern multi-folding sofas. yanno...the one's where the sides can fold up for arms or lay flat to seat more people? i think that'd be awesome. if it didnt fall through the floor, of course :P
but i know if she were to be part of a scarf exchange, i'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to receive a scarf from her!

Ricke and anyone else ... anyone from Pakistan or China... you can see the youtube clip if you use www.youtubepoxy.org... its an interesting video... I was waiting to see how big the knitting needles were going to be...
Same woman has a fashion show video of "extreme knits" - all the items shown simple squares or rectangles in very basic stitches but done with superbulky yarns. they looked great (probably to some degree to the shifting colours of the lights) but they also looked clumsy and VERY heavy.
Truth be told...
I wouldn't mind having that mattress she knit on the video -- and that was only four stitches cast on!
That was odd. Cool. But odd.
Well - It's interesting, and I'm sure a lot of work; but I would call it "1000 ply knitting" I was hoping for some fantastic clourwork project.....
Two words...Arm muscles.
I would love to take a peek, but I'm living in Turkey. The Turkish government has deemed youtube off-limits and prevents access to it here. Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, so don't take it for granted...
talk about a stash buster! :)
If you ever get this chick in the scarf exchange, run for your life!
I so want to do it!
Holy yarn-tastic Batman! Too cool!
