Come on guys, who is brave enough to knit this & model it?!
OK I've just joined the site and I seem to have missed all the fun.
I cannot find a link to can't see what your all talking about.
Anyone have the link they could repost or send me
oh lord! 'round these parts i do believe i'd get arrested for even knitting it!
My dear Martin,
I'm sure you will agree that it is usually more gratifying to knit for someome other than one's own self. I am familiar with "short rows". I hope to see you soon. I'll bring my tape measure.
Hey Aaron, very nice job! I'll bet it was fun to knit, for the novelty of it if nothing else. The elastic waistband looks REALLY difficult, at least to me.
So, if your partner won't model it, how about you? After all, Martin said "knit AND model"!
Ha ha!!! No, that's just not gonna happen! Sorry!
I have made this for my partner and it was a fun item to knit. I could take a picture of it, but he would not be wearing it. The elastic waistband is awkward, and I would find a different way to do the waistband if I were to try another one. Shaping the pouch was an interesting exercise in working short rows.
Since I said I could take a picture I figured I probably should. Voila!
So Martin how's your thong coming along.
I think Martin should lead by example!!!
Oh, sure. Not a problem. Just as soon as I get back to a 27" waist, I'll get a tan in one, too. Sure...
I might attempt (would have to conquer some new things) to knit it, but model it?! That would take an act of shear bravery! LOL
