Catching Up

Yesterday, I realized once again how grateful I am to have the Men Who Knit site. Even though I've only had time to login and read for the past couple of years, I fondly remember my early days and am so happy to see how much the site has grown. I recall how I thought it was so cool to find this wonderful group of men who were willing to be counted as knitters, take a look at ourselves within the world of creative expression, and encourage each other and laugh together. And I still feel that way although I usually only have time to lurk now.

This morning I became determined to catch up on posting some projects that I've completed (attached). I also have two projects going now, and want to post pics as they get farther along.

I'm in 1842 at the moment and the internet connection here isn't very fast (I'm not complaining - 1585 doesn't have internet at all!) so I'm really looking forward to seeing these when I get back to 2008 and a decent connection.

Get yourself one of those coal-fired computers. As I recall, they worked quite well in 1842.
