started a purty scarf

Watched two DVD's last night...both documentaries...Yes, always trying to improve himself, that's our boy.

Tying the Knot (about g/l marriage movement). I HIGHLY recommend it (both the act and the movie). and "Hitler's Lost Sub" which is a NOVA Programme on DVD. Also very interesting. learnt a lot about the war and submarines~ an invention that both interests and terrifies me.

I am knitting a scarf for you know who: I decided to knock out something attractive and brainless that I can take to knitnights and work on whilst watching movies. It's a k1p1 rib (24st) on 10.5s using a bulkyweight wool/poly boucle and a malibrigo merino worsted in uneven chasse method: 2 rows of the malibrigo to one of the boucle. The boucle is length dyed varigated different shades of green, and looks like forests seen from an airplane, and the blue is space dyed variegated shades of blue, and is supposed to represent water. So, we have the green hills or Ireland and Oregon, separated by water. Get it? Pictures to follow.

Wow! a "brainless" project

Wow! a "brainless" project that neverthless is also a "concept" design; and carries personal meaning. Talk about killing mutiple birds with one stone.

MMario - I'm not divorced from reality - we're having a trial separation
