That's an awesome shawl; the love is in giving it away.
I was curious, is that center part done in the diagonal, or is it bobbles in the right place making it look diagonal. I'm thinking a (k,p,k)into same stitch, k3tog... or something like that?

This is a beautiful shawl.

This is a beautiful shawl. Nice work compining textures. I love the color you have chosen also, it really brings out the pattern. Kurt

PLEASE write them up for the MWK mag....

You **don't** give yourself enough credit; which is an odd thing for me to say, because I know exactly how you feel.

I just knit something and people go ape-shite over it....and I'm sitting there thinking "Heck - If I can do it anyone can".

Now WRITING up a pattern that other people can follow is a whole 'nother skill set - and one I find a wee bit more painful then the designing or the knitting - but there are a LOT of people out there that will be willing to proof-read and proof knit in exchange for a copy of the finished pattern. Honest!

If I wasn't up to my elbows in half a dozen of my own (all with major goofs in the write-ups...sigh...) I'd offer to help to get *my* hands on them.....
