I just wish it was a little longer...

Ok, so I finished and bound off my alpaca scarf... went on to other projects... Now I'm looking at it, and wishing it were about another foot longer. I've got the yarn, but I can't remember what size needles I used. Dang!
Is there an easier method than trial and error to figure it out?

........the length is not

........the length is not always critical. How wide is it?

Remember - It's not how

Remember -

It's not how long it is, it's how you wear it.

ps: could you take a guess at needle size and then just whip up some guage swatches and see what comes closest to the scarf?

Think less, enjoy it more.

Firstly, I would like to say

Firstly, I would like to say the title of your blog entry is wonderful. Gee, how many of us have said that - especially about scarves. You could do exactly as if you were starting and make a swatch. Or you could pick up stitches from either end and knit a piece in a different stitch pattern and then it would not have to match the scarf exactly. Or you could add a long fringe. Or you could take another look at it and say, "I think it is perfect."
