Someone on LiveJournal posted a link to The Panopticon today. It's fabulous. I giggled. It totally needed to be shared.

What a hoot!  The thing I

What a hoot!  The thing I find the most funny of all about the whole sissy/woman vs. man domestic arts put-on is that my extended family consists of way more women than it does men--and only one woman out of all of them knows how to knit.  Whenver I ask around the family, it turns out that it's only me and one aunt.  My sisters don't even cook that well. (Ugh! I'm glad they won't be reading this.)

I think that during adolescence when a person is going through their identity problems, some of this tribalism is understandable.  But it just seems #$%*@&! in adults.

Franklin's blog is hands-down my favorite. I only recently started reading it, but he is absolutely hilarious. He's also done a commentary on the Cast On podcast, which I listen to religiously. He wrote that he's preparing another commentary for the podcast, so I'm looking forward to hearing that.

Thanks, that was a fun
