pattern was from knitty - colour scheme came from my warped mind.
I've also made him...twice. The first time, I used different yarns, and didin't really pay attention to things like, oh I dunno, the size of the yarn! He ended up looking really bloated b/c the stomach was made with super bulky!
Anyway, very nice! Very rewarding little project, I must say!
Very cute with a touch of cynicism.
I wish I were knitting now.
He's cute. I want to make a non-camo penguin!
Hmmm...wonder if there are patterns for an elephant...
I made that penguin too (http://www.menwhoknit.com/community/?q=node/1102). It's a fun little pattern, isn't it? I adore your choice of colors, I've been wanting to make a pink one for my niece.
I'm glad to see that your penguin has funky lines showing where the short rows are too, although yours are far less pronounced than mine. At least I know that good knitters have the same issue.
Longtime faggot, first time knitter.
Amazingly cute! Something else to add to the "to do" list...
What a great penquin. I love him.
Very humorous, especially coming from the needles of the Emperor of Lace. But does he march?
I haven't seen him march, but he did dance and sing Christmas Carols.
MMario - ambiguity is cultivated, it doesn't happen in a vacuum!
As a Linux geek, I love it!
