This is one boy's attempt at the art of randomness.
I actually tried the random number generator thingy, and while it works great for the stripping, it doesn't work so great with yarn combination.
I feel that even as random as things need to be, there has to be some method to the madness of randometry (is that even a word? Probably not.
Knitting needs to have some human involvement infused into it. The feel of 2 yarns held together, the feel of gauge when 2 yarns are held together, the complimentary factor between 2 novelties, the color progression. While all this DOES NOT seem random, it is somewhat random in the sense that I am following my heart and gut.
Is that random? The randomness that I can attribute to this project is shade progression...... I never know what shade I'm going on to next. It all depends on what my hand reaches into the bags for. And another random thing that happens is when to change yarns. Here is the greatest challenge I have, is to follow my heart and let it transpire to my fingers, to my touch and let it go into the universe.
How do you all thing I did so far?
