Here are a couple of scarves, the light one is the cotton that I made for myself and the red will be for me when it's done. The cables are the same on both sides as the whole thing is in K1 P1 ribbing.
Te texture of the red one looks great!
Beautiful Scarfs, the colors are great.
nice scarves, they look warm, dear daughter number 2 would fall in love with the red one, have to hide the website.

The red scarf is a discontinued Plymouth yarn called Silk Merino, so it's 30 silk and 70 merino. On size 8 needles, this pattern is in the Men in Knits book. The photo doesn't show the cables very well, but this was a quick 'here's how to post pictures session' Thanks again to Frank for coming by and getting this done for me. Actually it is as easy as I thought it would be, but since I've seen evidence of some folks having a time with it, I enlisted some help. I'll have more pics later this week, including the WIP sweater vest for myself. And I'm jumping onto the Koolhaas hat pattern as a friend needs some extra knit hats just now.
The light scarf shows the texture beautifully, and I love the strong red. What fiber is the red yarn? What size are the needles?
