I've been offline for a while. Thought I'd post this hat I did recently. I did the body of the hat in moss stitch which made a nice texture.
Mason, you need to slow down, you're making the rest of us look bad....*slinks over the corner*
But I do truly love to see what you have come up with. Your hats are awesome :)

Wow nice work. I like those colors.
Thanks. I wasn't too sure about that color combination but I think it works.
Another great job, Mason. It's been interesting watching you go from the basic scarf into exploring techniques and stitches. I hope you';ve been taking notes...your fan club over at knittinghelp.com is correct - you could get an interesting book out of this "journey" .

Thanks. I thinks pretty much every knitter goes through the same learning process. I doubt anyone would want to read about mine. LOL
You're unique Mason!
your life style while knitting id DEFINITELY book material...and your sense of humor and approach to life is admirable!!
...and I still chuckle over your "anger management" coments!!!!
Hmmmm, is "unique" the same as "special" when referring to the kids who ride the short bus? 0.o
more EXTROADINARILY WONDERFUL...
..not just unique...LOL
LOL Ok, the really short bus.
Great hat, great colors.
I wish I were knitting now.
I love the moss stitch, the texture is really appealing especially in that cerulean blue. The hat has a Swedish feel- those are the Swedish national colors.
This is my first project using moss stitch and I agree it's a great texture.
Mason . . You have become a rather prolific knitter, and are making some nice things.
Thanks, it helps pass the time on the road.
That is a nice hat, I have heard the term "flat top" never knew what to look for, I really like the way that top finishes. Nice work!
Thanks. A nice swirled flat top can look really good on certain hats.
Nice! Is that a flat top I see too? Looks great.
Thanks. Yes it's actually a flat top.
