Flat Knit Gloves

teejtc's picture

I'm currently working on a cabled scarf out of the Knitting (Man)ual but dont' have any little projects planned after that (I do have a bigger one - another sweater for my daughter). Anyhow, I'm thinking about trying a pair of flat-knit gloves. The last pair of gloves I made (which was also my first) ended up a little frustrating with all fo the ends to work in and the "holes" at the finger joins. I know I could work that out, but was wondering about these flat-knit gloves: http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter05/PATTurbanrustic.html

Has anyone tried them? Any suggestions/thoughts/encouragements/discouragements toward the pattern?

Grace and Peace,
`tim

*grin* I think the "terrible two's" have been greatly exaggerated over the years - though there is some truth to them - as they start pushing the bounderies. at five or six they can be a *real* handful * and then again at the pre-teens....and let's not even mention the high school years!

but granchildren are turly the parents revenge!

heh-heh-heh!

She is adorable.... most of the time. Unfortunately a few weeks ago she hit her "terrible twos" with a vengeance. Oh well. That's to be expected, I suppose. :-)

In my experience, four tends to be worse than two. "Terrible twos" is just more alliterative.
