I have downsized both needles and pattern size and find that some of my wool sweaters end up stretching with wear. especially alpaca blended wools. Any ideas on keeping them in shape
This happens to me on some sweaters, where the length of the arm grows over time (I don't usually mind the extra length in the body, since excess body fat usually sucks that right up!). Eventually, I usually end up removing up to two inches from the sleeve and then re-attaching whatever ribbing I have at the end of it.
I have about three sweaters that I've just been rolling up the cuff, but I really should snip a little.
Sorry I can only commiserate.
