Lace Shawl

RickMartin's picture

I knit this lace shawl as a Christmas surprise for my wife. She had no clue I was knitting it. My health is really poor, and I viewed this shawl as something that I could give to her that she could wrap around herself, when I'm no longer here to wrap myself around her.
The pattern is free on Debbie Macomber's website http://www.debbiemacomber.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=nnp&pageID=195, and is called Alix's Prayer Shawl. I knit it with 2.5 skeins of Araucania Ranco Multi on a US Size 7 needle.
