Variation on "Faux Spanish"

PDF file attached. The question was asked how would one knit the 'Faux Spanish' as a stole...I answered when the question was asked - but this version is a bit more "elegant" in it's simplicity.

And there are two variants that could be adapted to either the basic triangle or the double top-down triangle.

So would the same 4 stitch repeat work when knit in the round?
