The Storms pass through here to blow onto the East with fury.

We have actually gotten a bit more snow than normal this year. I woke up to a bit of a white world for three weekends in a row again this morning.

And I am all for it, though it either warms up and melts off fast, or gets blown Eastward after the storms themselves.

Sorry, I have been missing from over here as of late. We have been busy to say the least. The biggest items on our lists is between me getting a new job, and getting transferred. As to where, we don't know yet. We are in the middle of trying to sell the house.

However, between dog walks, I am making time again to play with fiber.

This wonderful tencel/merino blend is spinning up into beautiful lace weight.

And I have this New Zealand hybrid wool that will be a fun and funky three ply worded when it is done resting for a day or two.

But, these guys demand much of our attention, regardless of the temperature and a fireplace calling our names.

Actually, I have been getting them out while the realtors have been at the house. Nothing puts a buyer off like a 120 pound Mediocre Dane grumbling at you.

So, we've been out enjoying the trails, with everyone else and the wildlife. From AKQGuy

But, that's what time off is for, right? Oh right, and cleaning my house, again. In 10 minutes as we scramble to get dog and cat hair up, the house smelling fresh in the winter and all 5 animals outside.

Alas, Sullivan says Bye.

Good Night. Have a good rest of your weekend. I'll try to get more fiber play in and post over here.

I never get tired of snow.

I never get tired of snow. Since we rarely have snow in the South, I always get so excited when it snows; no matter if it's a little or a lot.

Thanks for sharing photos of the kids and the snow. [Let alone that gorgeous yarn.] It is supposed to warm up a bit over the next few days but I'll believe it when we experience it.

Quinton: How wonderful to see

Quinton: How wonderful to see your photos once again. I miss seeing the dogs, so it is good that you gave us this treat at the beginning of the new year. Sorry to read that you are moving, but I understand the difficulty. Where do they want to transfer you? After being in the snow in Alaska and Wyoming, what if you end up with nothing but sunshine and warm weather? Please to see that you are once again spinning, a talent few of us have. A great new year to you and the entire family. - John
