Well - I'm back.... Hello Gents.

Cannot believe that I moved from Sydney to a much cooler climate (Seattle) and have not picked up my needles in TWO years! :(

Well - I'm back into after I saw the new Rowan Autumn Knits pattern "Ilam". Just started!

As a former Seattleite very much enjoying a visit "home," I get to say Welcome to Seattle! :) It seems to be going easy on you; normally it would be pissing rain by now but these sunny days are amazing. I think you'll like it here.

Wow, it's been so long myself

Wow, it's been so long myself that I completely forgot my username and everything on here. It wasn't until Paul messaged me on here before I figured out what to do.

So it seems like there are Facebook Groups, Ravelry Groups, Yahoo Groups and the Men Who Knit groups. Too many groups to keep track off. Which ones are your preferences?

And like Paul, it's been a year since I myself have moved to Washington DC from Houston, TX and have not touched my needles since. It's just been busy busy busy and taking care of a dog that was cancer ridden. She finally passed 1 month ago and now 1/2 my life just dissapeared into a vacuum.

I guess back to the needles for comfort. Good to see all the new guys here and the old ones too.

Hi Kenny, I am glad to see

Hi Kenny,
I am glad to see you turn up again. When I started knitting three years ago, your work was some of the first I saw and I was so inspired. I look forward to more inspiration. I only do MWK and Ravelry. Knitting will be a good outlet now that your dog has passed. So sad. I now how that feels.
Welcome back!
Mark

Sorry to hear your dog has passed away.
Get back to your knitting!
You're a gifted artist...and the Washington stress isn't good for you...

Hi, also, Kenny. I am glad to see you back here as well. I only do MWK and Ravelry, myself. Friends and family want me to do FaceBook but I choose not to.

Hi Paul,
I have been a member her for three years now, so I don't recognize you. I am relative newbie compared to the others on here and a novice by their standards as well. I really like the Ilam sweater that brought you back. It is on my list of things to make as well one of these cold winters! I am in Chicago, so if you decide to go sightseeing and end up here, let me know and we can get together for a knit fest.

Welcome back!

Mark

You are very welcome. ETA:

You are very welcome.

ETA: I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I stopped knitting for a few years but started up again at university...I was showing a friend how to make something and said to myself, "Wow! I forgot just how much I enjoy this." [Or something like that.] I've been at it pretty steady ever since.
