Hi Bob, Thank You! You may

Hi Bob, Thank You! You may see me in it. I can be a little fussy when it comes to clothes, It's my addiction. There are a few items that I want to go with it and also I wasn't planning on wearing it until Valentine's Day. I had some new shoes and jeans in mind and will be making a hat and scarf. I usually post those picture on Ravelry. :-)

I love the color. I did at

I love the color. I did at the retreat get some yarn that was in the color range. There was a great debate what it was. I felt it was mauve. It was much too light for lavender. However I did get a skull cap made from it and presently getting a scarf made from the rest of it. I will put it on here when I am finished.

Sweaters are a great thing

Sweaters are a great thing when you start them. They seem to take on a life of their own after not too long afterwards and then they just seem to take forever to make. The seaming is what drives me crazy. I am on a mission to discover every pattern I can that makes them in the round. I love raglan and a few others that are on my to-do list. I made a vest a year or so ago that was in a couple pieces and I enjoyed that, but not so much the seaming part.

I love the color you chose and the stitch work is beautifully done. Thanks for sharing it.

I know what you mean ihiker.

I know what you mean ihiker. I definitely felt the same way about putting them together, but I'm feeling that slowly I learning more and so I'm immensely grateful for that. What I learn while making this on is to always look at my work. Others may not have to, but "I" have to. it I do, I can catch my mistake earlier and it will be easy to fix. The other is, some items are not meant to be knit while talking to people watching television, because mistake will be inevitable. Thank You about the color.... It's not the exact color that I had when I first attempted to work the pattern, but it's close enough. This was a sweater I attempted to make when I first began knitting but was given a bad lot of yarn when I knew nothing of lots and it ruined the initial work, so this is a victory in many ways. Thank You again!
