Thought some here might be interested in the new design I'm working
It's all in my
So here is an update to the post where I was experimenting to get a
rainbow yarn bowl:
I resolved the underglaze/glaze issues. I think this regular sized, right
handed, rainbow yarn bowl came out pretty well. What do you think?
My new yarn bowl arrived from Cindy...and it's MAGNIFICENT!
It's not simply the large one...it's HUGE! ...as big as a salad bowl!
I can have several balls of yarn in there safely. I often knit with several
strands, so this is perfect.
The glaze is gorgeous...the shape is very much like the picture above, but
slightly more flared at the top.
Cindy does beautiful ceramics!!!!
Thank you Bill, I'm glad you like it. :)
Please let me know if I can make anything else for you.
For you, it is my pleasure.
LOL! I love the "diva bitches" comment, NY. That's going to be my new pet
phrase for those $#!% glazes.
Second glaze test is coming up in a couple of weeks.
All I ask for is credit in your memoires!
In my Cavalcade Of Careers, I ran workshops for artists in a media to
learn techniques in others. Glazes...::sigh::...the muttered curses I was
forced to endure!
I will be certain to give you credit for that, NY, should I ever write a
memoir. More likely, I'll credit you every time I prepare to open a kiln. As
in, "When I open this kiln, you diva bitches had better be looking divine, or
I'll sic NY on you. He'll rewrite your sorry glazed pot belly scuts!"
Cindy, I don't REWRITE diva bitches correctionals...uhh uhh, oh no...
Jus' look, snap yo finga, turn yo back and sashay away.
You READ them sorry scuts to the curb with the other trash!
See! I have so much to learn!
It looks very nice
Getting all those unruly and unctuous colors to behave themselves...diva
bitches, all of them! Each wants center stage...so disgustingly glazed over,
each and every one.
Cindy, I know you can do it!
Shame them! Then show them the pretty thing they can become if they
comply. Allways works! (They are all surface, You Know ;-)
