The back is done and the front well under way. I told you all that I thought this would be a boring knit but it’s not that bad - I barely have to pay attention and the baby alpaca is delicious to work with so all in all I’m kind of enjoying it.
Hi Scott. What pattern are you using? I really like how it is shaping up?
Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I've started shaping the v-neck so I'm headed toward the end. I'm most aprehensive about picking up the stitches to knit the neck and arm bands. I always find picking up stitches unclear and iffy. It's hard to express it but I'm never sure if I've actually selected a stitch or the right part of the stitch or something - it's just one of those things I have a hard time with.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....Alpaca, the word just gets my juices flowing. The pullover vest is beautiful, well done, I am looking forward to the finished article.
Very good looking sweater. Ought to be really nice when finished.
I am glad you are enjoying your sweater. (I love knitting sweaters.) And it looks beautiful.
Scott...beautiful work and I love the melon color. Make sure to give us a finished preview..
Scottly, I always love your work and this piece is turning out to be dynamite. I can't wait to use my alpaca. Glad you're not bored with it. Enjoy!
