Akeno - Ellison's Noro Men on the needles

Just put Akeno on the needles from Jane Ellison's Noro Men as the Midwest continues to bake in temps hovering around 100 degrees - seems crazy to be starting a cool weather jacket for myself as I sit by the pool. Water temp is in the mid nineties and I am day dreaming of the first snow.

I can empathize! In NOLA it's hotter than two flea's shagging in a dog's arse. I'm knitting a cardigan for my sister right now in a worsted wool/alpaca/silk blend! Even under the ceiling fan with central A/C I'm still sweating my...well, you get the point. I wish I had a pool, so I do envy you that one. I'm not familiar with that pattern, but I'm intrigued.
