Socks and Puppets

mr.cullen's picture

Hello all. Thanks for all the support on my first sock project. This week I just finished the other sock of the pair. The whole process was much quicker and easier. I think I'd like to make some puppets (sock puppets) and I have sketched a few characters that might be fun to make...Whenever I finish a knitted project, my mind races and thinks of a lot of things I like to knit and create. Happy knitting and creating to all of you....Cullen

Great socks and ideas.

Great socks and ideas. That's why I can say that I - for one - don't have Second Sock Syndrome...I find it so much quicker to make because I've already worked out all the quirks on the first one. However, in all honesty, if the quirks are real beasts it may take a while to get that first one knit. [He says, after ripping out over an hour's worth of knitting on a toe.] Keep up the great knitting. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

I always love that sense of

I always love that sense of wonder when teaching others or that i still get it myself when tryong something new. That "that's it? That wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be." feeling. As for creating, I can never leave a pattern alone and understand the drive. Congrats on the new footwear and enjoy the puppet creation!
