Heading to the Mile High City (in preparation for the Rocky Mountain Knitting Retreat)

KNITexan's picture

I decided to spend the day before check-in for the retreat in Denver. I've never been there before and don't know if anyone has any thoughts on what I should see, what yarn shops are worth visiting (they all are in my opinion, just looking for an editing eye) or where I should go. Thank you in advance!

Hey Charles, here's the name and information for one yarn shop in Denver and I feel that it's really worth seeing. The Lamb Shoppe is devoted to knitting. Here's a link to the website Sid:

You guys are making me wish I could leave on Wednesday instead of Thursday. Too bad I have to work Tuesday night or I'd make some magic happen.

Thanks for the kind thought,

Thanks for the kind thought, Frank. However, it truly can't happen. Packing, planning, re-packing, theater date that night, and whatever else crops up. Still, only 5 more days to go. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Sorry, Q. As you know, I have a busy Wednesday before we leave Thursday morning. I wouldn't be able to cancel anything to help make the magic happen. In fact, you may have to poke me to make sure I'm awake as we drive down. [Or sic the pup on me.] -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
