Good lord...I remember how

Good lord...I remember how progressive I thought rock n roll was back in the mid 60s. It's amazing now, looking back, how curious this song was and how fun it really is. It speaks to the notion that nothing was off limits when music writing was concerned. It was a much simpler time and it's neat to think that male rock n rollers would even consider knitting, let a lone write a song and make a record. Good find!
