another 'interstitial' project.

i've started yet another 'interstitial project' as a break from mitered squares and the amazing-never-will-be-finished hooded pullover.  i bought some Aurora "under the ice" ribbon-type yarn from Yarn Bee and i think i'm in love!! i've never used something that takes such big clunky needles(size 15) before:  they go "klack-klack" and not "click-click"  anyways, i decided to knit it up as a scarf for a friend.....this stuff is too "glam" for a cranky old guy like m'self to pull off, anyway.  started last night just working a little on breaks and during soaks/dwells and it's more than half way done!  anyway, once finished and given to the boy all the other kids at the club will be soooo jealous.   when i take my next week off, i'm gonna go look at digital cameras.....maybe i'll get feverish and buy one (no one hold their breathe, ok....i'm really really cheap).

Get the freekin' digital so we can see some of these projects you're doing. And stop referring to yourself as "old" or some of us with more years under our belts may have to take steps.

MMario - I don't live in the 21st Century - but I play a character who does.

Awesome use of the word

Awesome use of the word "interstitial"!  I've only ever used it/seen it as in the "interstitial fluid" (fluid between all the cells in our bodies).   The yarn sounds interesting, too!

Okay...you got me.  I had

Okay...you got me.  I had to look up "interstitial."  I hate it when I don't know a word!  All that aside, I can't wait to see the finished project, please get or borrow a camera.
