Spring?

Just when I think spring is coming to Connecticut I am fooled. One day it almost reaches 60 degrees and the next we have a noreaster in March. So to be ready I made yet another hat that I can wear hiking outdoors until the weather truly warms up. 75% Acrylic, 25% Wool Machine washable and dryable.

Ah, here in Turkey we have a saying about March (including the Turkish because it rhymes):

Kapıdan baktıran,
kazma kürek yaktıran ay.

It means

"The month that has you looking out the door,
and burning your shovels."

(The implication being that it can give hints of spring, but suddenly get cold and having you burning whatever you can find because your winter fuel's run out!)

Don't worry, it'll get here. :)

I'm just wondering.... it appears the hat is inside out. Is there a reason for this? I suppose you can wear your hat anyway you want, I just haven't seen it done this way before. Curious.

Looks like a nice hat, Andy.

Looks like a nice hat, Andy. Don't you just love the way Mother Nature surprises us from time to time? I'm sure your hat kept you nice and warm with this (hopefully) last cold snap of the season.
