It tickles my fancy. Interested yes, it will mean a big travel for me from Europe, so need to spend some more time in the US and knit a travel plan around it.
Has a date been set yet? Has a location been set?

My wife and I attended a Nat'l Wildlife Conference in Estes Park three or four years ago. It is in a beautiful park-like setting with good accommodations and a lot to see and do in the area -- hiking, wildlife viewing, bird watching, and some historic sites to visit. There is a camp ground nearby with a trout-filled stream running through it for those who would like to "rough-it" and enjoy some fresh-caught fish for their meals.
Come hell or high water. Literally, I have been dreaming of being able to attend a knitting retreat. This would be perfect!
I have been to Winterpark, and it is great, not been to the other 2 as far as I know. I am enamored of the mountains though, so any of them would be fantastic.
My brother got married at YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, and I've been there several times for conferences. It's an outstanding venue. Love to do a knitting retreat there. Depending on dates, of course.

Cool!! Thanks for that feedback!
I can't imagine a more beautiful place to sit around with group of guys and knit/spin/crochet.
Just magical...I like to taste-test as many retreats as I can, and I didn't get a chance to "taste" the Midwest retreat or the New Zealand one...hopefully the Rockies will get tasted.
love those gloves joe
did you knit them???
Joe - it would be so great to have you join us!! The Rockies are beautiful! I'll bring my motorcycle and give anyone who dares a ride through the mountains. :-)
WOOHOO!! That sounds like lots o' fun!!!
Now I've got LOTS of incentive...that sounds better than Disneyland.
Careful Joe... I am betting Frank is a daredevil! He may jump you over the divide.
You make that sound like a bad thing????

They all sound very interesting. It is up there in the mountains and people will probably have a wonderful view of the countryside. The 3 look like great places for a retreat
OOOOO....This sounds like fun! I don't know if I can commit or not but I definitely hope it gets going and I can attend. Please keep us posted. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
I need another excuse for a return visit to Colorado! This would be a great one!
I wouldn't be able to make it; but best of luck...
