Another Pair of Clogs

My hubby doubted my clogs would turn into much before I felted them. Then I caught him trying them on one day and suddenly he was asking me to knit him a pair. I made him go through the Knit Picks catalog and pick out some yarn. He even volunteered to hold the hank while I balled it up. A few days later, I had the first one done. Another week and the second one is done. He wants to wear them so bad, but I keep telling him that he needs to let them dry! :o) Anyhow, I'm so glad I joined the KAL for my clogs and could actually get the hubby a little excited about knitting! Here are a few pictures. They are made out of Knit Picks Bulky Wool of the Andes. I did the inner sole and upper in the Hand Painted Rolling Hills and the cuff and outer sole with bumper join in Emerald. One look at the Rolling Hills hank and I knew they would turn out sort of camoflage and they did. Which is ok with the hubby. He loves green!

Very nice, Cory. It's a good sign that he even volunteered to help make them. Now, if you could just get him to cast on... -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

LOL Too funny! I just told him the other day that he really needed to learn to knit. He of course rolled his eyes and asked why. I said it would give him something to do and relax with and it would always be a knit-to-gether in our house! He didn't take the bait. LOL

Those are the f**king coolest, Cory. I want some. I need to lose my garment-phobia and make myself a pair of those. I like that colorway too. Where was it that you got that pattern?

I really like the colorway you chose for your clogs. Once felted they look fantastic. Great job!
