Networking and Knitting ...

so with social media the way it is today, and the internet, I thought I would try a six degrees experiment. It is a goal of mine to meet either Elsebeth Lavold or Alice Starmore or both! Thinking about the 6 degrees of separation (or small world phenomenon) I did a post about it on my blog. In this day and age, we have no idea how big anybody's network is or who they are connected to so I'm hoping somebody here can help. The ironic thing is you may be able to help and not even know it. If you have the time, have a peek at this post and then send it to anyone you know who may be interested (knitter or non alike). Thanks all and I'll update it as soon as I make a connection.

Have met Elsebeth, but don't

Have met Elsebeth, but don't know her. Do however know Jane Slicer-Smith and good friends with Lily Chin. I know it doesn't help much.

Facebook keeps trying to get

Facebook keeps trying to get me to friend Cat Bordhi....since I haven't read more then a few paragraphs of her work; (though I've read a lot about her) and never communicated with her, never taken a class, never been in the same location my thoughts are = "Why would I friend her?"

YMMV
