Sister's Sweater

ronhuber's picture

I made this sweater for my sister. I used Jamieson and Smith 2 ply Jumper Weight and 3.25 mm needles. The colour is Thistle and is much prettier than the pictures show. I knit it in the round from the bottom up and just cut the steek without securing it. First time I used an Asplund border and it turned out very well.

Ron, you've made a lovely job of the garment. I enjoy working with J&S wool even though it isn't the softest in the world. Such a good colour. The border is very effective, is it turned under and secured?
