Lisa in her scarf

scottly's picture

Well here's Lisa in her linen scarf. She loves it! After blocking it I was so hyped on the way the linen turned out I went to the LYS and splurged on some lovely yellow Euroflax by Louet Sales. I'm going to use the same pattern but make it wider and shorter for a narrow stole. I think it will make a lovely spring/summer wrap.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. I think I've turned into a linen freak - $23.00 a hank, hmm, that's not that bad.

If you are going to knit a lot with it, you might check into some of the thin nylon liner gloves used for winter. I used to use them when working with some synthetic yarns because of allergic reactions. Takes a bit of practice to adapt your tension for gauge but it beats the dickens out of sore fingers or, in my case, rashes. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
