I've been a bad boy and haven't kept up with posting my FO's! With trying to complete all of my holiday knitting (which of course ran into the first week of January) and my impatience for starting new projects, I kept procrastinating on posting the ones I had completed. So I'm going backward and will be posting chronologically. The first is a sweater I made for my sis. I got the pattern from the LB website (all their patterns are free now). It's called the Portland Cardigan. I used their organic wool in Toffee--pretty good stuff actually. Poor thing! She had been asking me for a sweater for a long time to keep in her classroom so she could throw it on when she got chilled. Her only requirements were a shawl collar, neutral color and extra long sleeves. The only thing about the pattern is that it has a plethora of seaming! I wish I would have had the foresight to put in some short row shaping to accommodate her ample bosom. You can see in the profile photo that it picks up at the bottom front. Oh well, next time. She loved it, so that's what mattered!
