Knitting in literature... well... in Discworld at least.

I have been rereading Terry Pratchett's Discworld series for a little light
summer reading. If you have never read, or even heard of Discworld... You are
missing out on possibly the best living satire writer since Kurt Vonnegut's
passing. Pratchett is one of the few authors who actually has me laughing out
loud. I am talking an honest laugh, not a chuckle or even a snicker.

I'm back!

I've been missing for a great while due to health issues. But I'm Baaack! After many long years I finally have a diagnosis and drugs that work! It seems somehow at this late age I've developed absent status epilepsy. My brain seizures were causing me to "go absent" for periods lasting up to six days. Then come back for around 10 days only to go absent for another 3-6 days.

A Finished Project and a Question :)

I finished the Prayer Shawl knitted in Indian Cross-Stitch http://newstitchaday.com/how-to-knit-the-indian-cross-stitch/ so here are a couple of pictures I took with my cell phone so you can see how it looks. I think I'm going to make another one in rainbow stripes that will really show off the pattern and the waves.
