My latest sock I'm working on

Here is my latest sock in progress, shown on top of the original antique pair.

My finished 3 color stranded sock

I thought I would post pics of the finished sock that I wrote about a few weeks back. Once again, the goal was to reproduce this antique sock as closely as possible, considering the materials on hand.

What I'm working on at the moment

Its been quite a while since I posted, so I thought I'd finally write again. Last time I wrote I was struggling to figure out what I call 'open work' but I guess it is technically lace. I figured it out - thanks to some nice help from the guys here - and went to make a pair of armlets/sleeves that I wanted to complete a costume. I'll post pics later if anyone cares to see them.

what do you call this type of patter? any clues ?

Hi guys,

Its been a long time since I knit! and I need to do this project to make some sleeves for a costume. This, or something similar is what I want, but I am feeling dumb that I can't figure it out. Any one know what this, or some similar patter, is?

Any help is appreciated.

started new stranded sock

so i pretty much finished all the 'Macedonian appropriate'(my term) heavy
men's long socks from my last post. i decided to tackle a project a friend
asked me to do, which is to copy a pair of women's Thracian traditional socks
for him. after working on the thick men's socks, using inexpensive synthetic
heavy 4 ply yarn and #8 needles, it was a real challenge readjusting to using
