Here's something that I made for Ron who is a huge fan of the zombie genre. The pattern is from the Creepy Cute Crochet book which has all kinds of ghoulish things in it.
Here is a picture of the socks that I'm working on. Well, this is one half of that pair, the first and finished sock! Sock two is about half done.
Here is a picture of a Lion that I made as a present for one of the doctors that I work with. The pattern for him came from a book called Amigurumi World.
Has anyone else gotten into making Amigurumi (little crocheted/knitted toys)?
After the long, though not unpleasant, process of making the sweater, I decided I wanted to make something quick and easy, that I could do in one or two sittings.
Just wanted to share with everyone that the sweater I've been working on for my partner Ron is done.
The area of the Speed Racer pattern that I was having trouble with is in doing the second sleeve.
Has anyone else used any of the patterns from this book?
I took an extended break from blogging over a year ago, but have recently made a glad return. It's been really nice to reconnect with some old friends and I hope to make new ones as well!
The socks I've been slowly working on are finally done! They are 100% alpaca and very cozy. I'm pretty happy with them, they look nice and fit well. The only thing I've noticed is that the second one is just slightly bigger than the first. I think my guage was a little looser on the second. Does anyone know if there is a way to safely shrink the left sock to match the right one? Again, it's pretty minor, but if it's anyone has any tips, I might try to rememdy it. Thanks everyone and take care! -Ken
