There are so many online tutorials now. They are so helpful. Recently, I was trying to become more familiar with entrelac knitting. So, off to YouTube.com I went.

One slipper finished

I found this slipper pattern in The Knitting Man(ual) and enjoyed the process. I had to make adjustments along the way because my medium foot was not the designer's medium foot.

Knitting with 1000 strands!

Here's an amazing video of a Rachel John knitting 1000 strands of yarn into a small mattress. Amazing tribute to perseverance and a sense of dedication to a curious form of art. Enjoy.

Abysmal sock..but finished!

I finished my first sock. It really is a horrid sight. I didn't use sock-weight yarn, so it's bigger than it should be, but it was a good learning experience.

Variegated Scarf

I am using up some of the yarn my wife and son bought for me this past Christmas. This scarf is made with 1.5 skeins of Bernat Mosaic yarn...100% acrylic and variegated...100g/3.5oz.

Silk Cowl

Another cowl under my belt...this one Andean Silk - "Merryweather". This was a labor of love and determination. It took me three tries to get the tension and the size correct.

Another Cowl

Just finished my second cowl. This one is of 80% acrylic and 20% wool. I wasn't sure if it would help to soak it and then flat dry it, but it did even out some of the stitches.
