Ok, so today I made the blessed pilgrimage out to the new LYS I discovered and bought 21 skeins of DROPS Eskimo yarn for my sweater.
So during my convalescence I have been knitting up a storm whilst pumped full of prescription strength cold and flu meds.
So I woke up this morning feeling like crap, I had been feeling a cold coming on for the past week or so and was waiting for this.
Just finished the stocking last night, and felted it today, I used the washing machine at my laundromat plus a good beating in the kitchen sink.
So I’ve decided to, in a way, close my eyes and jump off a cliff and probably overshoot my abilities and (attempt to) knit my first sweater.
Ok so I know I said I bound off the other one halfway through and tried to hand felt it just to see how it would turn out.
When will I learn to calculate gauge on EVERYTHING?! I thought that since it was a felted christmas stocking, and nobody would be wearing it, gauge didnt really matter.
