My blog post about the 2012 Men's Spring Knitting Retreat

Hi guys, I wanted to share my blog post from today about the 2012 Men's Spring Knitting Retreat. It's hard to believe that it was almost two weeks ago already. If you've never been to one of the Men's Knittting Retreat before, I strongly encourage you to go at least once.

A little segment on our local Fox channel's evening news

This was shot last month at Trumpet Hill, my favorite LYS. I'm uneasy having my picture taken, so having a TV camera pointed at me was actually downright frightening. But still, I'm always happy to advocate for and encourage men who knit. I think the final piece came out quite nice.

What comes around goes around…and comes back around again

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I just wanted to take an opportunity today to give my thanks to all men who knit no matter where you are. Thank you for your devotion to the craft, for sharing your knowledge, and for supporting and inspiring men everywhere to be creative with yarn and needles.

One thing leads to another

It’s no surprise that practicing one craft can lead to an interest and desire to learn another, especially with fiber related crafts. Many people who started with crochet have learned to knit and many who started with knitting have learned to crochet. There’s a lot of crossover between the two.

Since there's been some discussion here lately about interchangables, I thought this post I did for the Fiber Arts Blog was worth repeating here.

It's been a busy winter....

Posted this to the Fiber Arts Blog at the Times Union this morning, and since I haven't posted anything here in a while, it seemed like a fitting thing to repeat here.
