It's Here!

So when we started the scarf exchange I was in the process of moving and did not have my new address yet, so instead I had my scarf sent to my parents house.

Half Continental

I knit in a very odd way, I call it half continental. I have the yarn in my left hand, and throw it with my left hand as well. So it is not english, and not continental....somewhere half way there.

My new favorite way of making a hat Updated

So, I have been doing many hats and I have a new favorite way to making them. I converted the Ski Hat pattern from Son of Stitch 'n' Bitch from straight needles to circulars.

I am very upset.

So, I finally got my scarf exchange scarf sent off. I went to my parent’s house on Tuesday and my father sent it off for me, I am young, I have never figured out the whole post office thing.

I gave up

I gave up on the gloves...they just were making me mad. I will get back in the mood later to try to make gloves, but for now I am working on my second sock.

I hate gloves

I have been making the Beer gloves from Son of Stitch n Bitch for the last week....and I hate them. The pattern in the book makes NO SENSE, and has numerous errors and no errata sheet.

No clue what I am going to do

So my second and final adventure into lace (at least for a while) is this pattern from yarnover.net like the last one. This is for my other Grandmother.

Fake Isle Hat

I am not happy with this hat. I followed the instructions for the decreases and I think it is about 10 rows too long. This will be for my Father for Christmas.

Blocked?

I blocked my Flacon lace thing, and decided to give it to my Grandmother for Christmas.

Flacon

So I am stuck in my apartment, and it rained today washing away all the snow in Corvallis. I can not go home though, the hour drive makes a big difference in the weather.
