What fun watching the games and knitting away......
Good Morning All,
Well it's done in time for Christmas. Finished it last weekend and for using scrap yarn I liked the finished results. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
Kindest Regards to all,
Here is a project I just started to use up 4 skeins of an Italian wool form Vernasco. The product is called di.ve. I have two of each color way and I am alternating them every two rows in a seed stitch. I love the nubby texture. It will be a stocking stuffer for some lucky family member this Christmas.
Not sure where I am going yet with this sweater. The wool is a rustic tweed from the Queensland Collection.63% wool, 27% alpaca & 10% donegal. I'll keep the topic going and see what turns it takes.
I am almost finished with JAne Ellison's Akeno from her book Noro Men. I've completed the back, both sleeves the right front. Just started the left front then have to piece it together and knit in the hood and sew in the zipper. Should have done by the holiday weekend and will post a pic. PAttern is easy and completes fast.
Just put Akeno on the needles from Jane Ellison's Noro Men as the Midwest continues to bake in temps hovering around 100 degrees - seems crazy to be starting a cool weather jacket for myself as I sit
