Latest Finished Object - Wool Llama Cardigan

It seems to be ages since I last posted, but I've just finished a cardigan in a fantastic yarn. Adriafil Llama Classic yarn is 50% wool and 50% Llama, in this case a lovely shade of black, peppered with long stands that give a sparse halo of light-grey fibres. Finished fabric has great drape.

What a disaster, I ordered three amazing yarns at superb prices as part of the 'closeout' deals from Webs and my parcel has gone missing.

Picking up stitches and Kitchener Stitch Bind-off

I find there's something very satisfying about picking up stitches to make the neckband of a sweater (or to knit sleeves gansay-style from shoulder down). Perhaps it's the reassurance that you've almost made it after knitting the body and arms.
