I'm using this product for the first time. Evidently rinsing isn't necessary which is nice if your concerned about conserving water or saving time. Aquae is the scent I purchased and it is very nice. I'll get back with you once the piece comes off the blocking rack (my 2nd floor hallway).
Well, there wasn't really a vacation involved but there was lots of kitting. I sort of had a mission to work with every kind of non-wool natural fiber I could get my hands while experimenting with different lace stitches culminating in a much more ambitious shawl project of my own design. So, I guess, these are my studies for my next big project.
Mid October my husband and I are off to San Miguel Allende and I was wondering what, if any yarn, I might find there. From what I hear it's very Americanized with lots of expats living there because their pensions go further south of the border. Which makes me think it might be a hot spot for knitting, weaving and such. Has anyone been?
Gulf Shore, AL that is. We leave on Friday and will be there all next week. I have way more projects packed then I can ever finish but so what - I have choices.
I started a pair of socks that is riddled with pearl two together through back loop.
Hey guys, it's been awhile but the great outdoors has been keeping me busy. I have been knitting however. I did these in the last month, about a pair a week.
Even though I've knit for nearly thirty years it's been only recently that I've really bothered to "learn how" to knit. Part of that was learning how to knit continental.
These are for my sister for her 60th. I can't believe she's 60, it seems like she was just babysitting me yesterday.
Well here's Lisa in her linen scarf. She loves it! After blocking it I was so hyped on the way the linen turned out I went to the LYS and splurged on some lovely yellow Euroflax by Louet Sales.
