Current events

Still working on the sock yarn version of the tube sock. I'm about 4 inches into the second sock.
I'm also enroute to the 5th Rocky Mountain Men's Knitting Retreat in Allenspark, CO. It goes from 11th to the 14th of June and is my absolute "me-time" vacation.
That means I'll be out of touch for several days. Take care and keep the needles clicking.

Knitting Needle Organiser

Hi Guys,

I have just set up a little Etsy shop as I've started making Mens knitting needle organisers. I've been searching for ages to try and find one that didn't have flowers or unicorns printed all over it. Alas to no avail. So I decided to make my own and then sell them. Please check it out and pass it on to anyone else you think may like one.

Project Jacquard

Hi Guys,
I found this video and thought it might be of interest to some of you. It's all about weaving touch-sensitive conductive yarns into fabrics. Google and Levi Jeans have really taken it a lot further than just making gloves able to connect with touch screens. Enjoy.

New Blanket

Yes, summer has finally arrived here and I have a new blanket! I needed it earlier when it was rather chilly (and they turned the heat off in the building) so I started on this one. It took me about 5 and a half weeks. I had some trouble with my hand and was delayed somewhat.

socks

I am a real fan of Arne and Carlos from Norway. So when they designed six different sock yarns for Regia, I had to buy them. I knit up the first pair and am very pleased with the pattern and with the yarn itself. 2.25 mm needles.

New sweater

I have started a new raglan sweater lately. Will it be a crew or turtle neck, I don't know yet!

Left-over Sweater

I had 9 balls of beige in Jamieson and Smith 4 ply Jumper Shetland Wool and dug out out 9 other balls of different colours. I used lovat, mustard, silver, periwinkle, sand, live lobster, spring green, oatmeal, and grape. I kept them in that order with a row of beige every other row. I knitted it with 3.25 mm needles. It is nice and warm and will be great in the autumn.

issues with No Stitch

Hello All,
I'm looking at a pattern/chart and I ran across a No Stitch symbol. I'm curious, how does one execute that No Stitch?

Fair Isle Knitting

Hello gents!

I don't know the ID of the gentleman who does the wonderful fair isle knitting on here but maybe someone could bring this link to his attention.

Found a wonderful vintage fair isle pattern online. Not sure if it'll be his cup of tea or not, but here's the link anyway.
