I hope you all saw this...
Very cleverly written!
Hope it is going well for all of you out there in the Fiber Filled world of Knit Land. I just wanted to share with you a new project I am working on. (I meant to share earlier but totally slipped my mind until someone just reminded me on Ravelry!!)
Sorry for the odd question, but my computer recently died and I'm experimenting with replacing it with an Ipad. Since so much of what I do is web based these days, it works great for nearly everything, but there are some gaps. I recently discovered one whn I tried to post a photo of my latest project here.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to a good stitch dictionary for beginners? I think I've pretty much mastered the garter stitch and would like to try some new ones. I know there are a lot of good resources online, but I don't always have Internet access when I'm knitting, so a book of stitches would be great to have. (Plus, I just like books.) Thanks for your help!
Thank you for letting me join. I am new to knitting and have not completed any projects at this time. I am looking forward to the inspiration from all of you.

Is anyone interested in having a men-only swap? Not jock straps, but anything depending on a questionnaire that we fill out. Maybe with a $10 or $20 limit.
I’m involved in two swaps on knittingparadise.com and thought it might be interesting to swap with other men.
Basically, depending on questions that the swapper answers, the partner picks a bunch of items to swap with them.
Has anyone had a problem with the left lower front section. My pattern reads as follows:
SETUP 2X2 RIB (WS): K2, P2
ROW 1 (RS): P2, K2
Work even for [#] rows ending with a wrong side row
Begin following Front chart for your size here.
As far as I can tell from the picture there are not [#+] rows until you start the Diagonal Cables. Any suggestions?
Just read Scotty's entry about his boss' reaction to knitting. Here is another one to share with all of you:
I am a newbie to knitting. Would love to find a local knitting group in LA. I am in Culver City so anything in West LA would be appreciated.
